West Virginia High School Basketball - South Charleston overwhelmed by Mingo Central

December 15, 2023: South Charleston, WV 25309

The Mingo Central Miners basketball team scored 61 points and restricted the host South Charleston Black Eagles to 18 in the Miners non-league victory on Friday.

The Miners now sport a 5-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wyoming East for a Coalfield AA contest on Tuesday, December 19. Mingo Central will battle a Warriors team coming off a 57-34 league win over Chapmanville Regional (Chapmanville, WV). The Warriors record now stands at 5-0.

The Black Eagles (0-4) will now prepare for their contest against Wayne (Wayne, WV). The Pioneers come into the non-league contest with a 4-0 record. In their last contest, Wayne triumphed over Scott (Madison, WV), 64-36, in a league contest.
