Kansas High School Basketball - Smith Center crushes Oakley

December 15, 2023: Smith Center, KS 66967

Smith Center Redmen (Smith Center, KS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Oakley Plainsmen (Oakley, KS), 62-31 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Smith Center upgrades its record to 6-0 on the season. The Redmen host Ellis (Ellis, KS) to clash with the Railroaders in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Railroaders go into the bout with a record of 4-2.

Next up, the Plainsmen clash with the Decatur Community Red Devils (Oberlin, KS) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Oakley will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 59-37 non-league loss to Trego (WaKeeney, KS).
