Nebraska High School Basketball - Omaha Westside overwhelms Omaha Northwest

Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Omaha Westside Warriors (Omaha, NE) and the host Omaha Northwest Huskies (Omaha, NE), saw Omaha Westside's basketball squad wallop Omaha Northwest by a count of 66-20.

With the victory, Omaha Westside upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Papillion-LaVista (Papillion, NE) to play the Monarchs in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 29. The Monarchs come into the challenge with a record of 4-2. Papillion-LaVista lost 74-39 in their recent league challenge against Marian (Omaha, NE)

Next up, the Huskies play the Kearney Bearcats (Kearney, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 16. Omaha Northwest will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Bearcats come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 37-23 league loss to Columbus (Columbus, NE).
