North Carolina High School Basketball - Southern Lee trounced by Scotland

The Scotland Fighting Scots routed the host Southern Lee Cavaliers basketball team by a final score of 69-28 in Friday's league game.

In their next game, the Fighting Scots face the Marlboro County Bulldogs (Bennettsville, SC) in a non-league game, on Saturday, December 16. Scotland will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record. The Bulldogs enter the game with a 0-5 record after their 64-26 non-league loss to Marion (Marion, SC).

With the defeat, Southern Lee moves to 0-7 on the year. The Cavaliers travel to Montgomery Central (Troy, NC) to face the Timberwolves in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 21. The Timberwolves come into the battle with a record of 8-0. Montgomery Central won 63-46 in their recent non-league battle against Anson (Wadesboro, NC)
