Sleepy Eye Indians (Sleepy Eye, MN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Wabasso Rabbits (Wabasso, MN), 70-57 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Sleepy Eye upgrades its record to 9-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Nicollet (Nicollet, MN) to play the Raiders in a A Section 2 bout on Thursday, December 21. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 2-4.
Next up, the Rabbits play the Cedar Mountain Cougars (Morgan, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Wabasso will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
