The Tabb Tigers basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Smithfield Packers to 35 in the Tigers league triumph on Friday.

The Tigers now sport a 5-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Warwick for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Tabb will play a Raiders squad coming off a 60-14 league win over Denbigh (Newport News, VA). The Raiders record now stands at 5-2.

Next up, the Packers play the New Kent Trojans (New Kent, VA) in a Bay Rivers bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Smithfield will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Trojans come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 83-14 league loss to Jamestown (Williamsburg, VA).
