In Friday's league match, the visiting Thomson Bulldogs basketball team scored a decisive 85-5 triumph over the Westside Patriots.

In their next game, the Bulldogs face the Cross Creek Razorbacks (Augusta, GA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 16. Thomson will attempt to move on its 6-0 season record. The Razorbacks enter the match with a 6-2 record after their 48-46 non-league win over North Augusta (North Augusta, SC).

With the defeat, Westside moves to 0-6 on the year. The Patriots travel to Putnam County (Eatonton, GA) to face the War Eagles in a AA Region 4 match on Tuesday, January 2. The War Eagles enter the match with a record of 7-2.
