St. Mark's Lions (Southborough, MA) fans left the game happy Friday as they witnessed their ice hockey team achieve victory over the visiting Lawrence Academy Spartans (Groton, MA), 2-0 in a non-league match.

The Lions (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Noble & Greenough (Dedham, MA). The Bulldogs enter the non-league match with a 5-0 record. In their last match, Noble & Greenough tipped Westminster School (Simsbury, CT), 3-2, in a non-league match.

Next up, the Spartans clash with the Westminster School Martlets (Simsbury, CT) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 16. Lawrence Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Martlets enter the match with a 4-2 record after their 3-2 non-league loss to Noble & Greenough (Dedham, MA).
