The Austin Maroons basketball team scored 77 points and restricted the host Akins Eagles to 8 in the Maroons league victory on Friday.
The Maroons now sport a 13-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Westlake for a contest on Wednesday, December 20. Austin will battle a Chaparrals team coming off a 51-32 league loss to Lake Travis (Austin, TX). The Chaparrals record now stands at 0-2.
The Eagles (1-2) will now prepare for their contest against Bowie (Austin, TX). The Bulldogs come into the contest with a 1-1 record. In their last contest, Bowie was routed by Austin (Austin, TX), 37-34, in a league contest.
