The Eastern Tech Mavericks (Baltimore, MD) basketball knocked off the visiting Sparrows Point Pointers (Baltimore, MD), 31-20 in Friday's non-league test.
The Mavericks (1-0) will now prepare for their test against Carver A&T (Towson, MD). The Wildcats go into the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Carver A&T went down by Lansdowne (Baltimore, MD), 37-9, in a non-league test.
The Pointers now own a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Chesapeake for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 3.
