The Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the host Lakewood Lancers to 19 in the Jackrabbits league victory on Friday.

The Jackrabbits now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Serra for a non-league contest on Monday, December 18. Long Beach Poly will battle a Cavaliers team coming off a 46-20 league loss to Cantwell-Sacred Heart of Mary (Montebello, CA). The Cavaliers record now stands at 0-1.

The Lancers (1-4) will now prepare for their contest against Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Gladiators come into the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Gahr dropped by King/Drew (Los Angeles, CA), 59-8, in a non-league contest.
