The West Jones Mustangs soccer team scored 6 points and limited the visiting Terry Bulldogs to 0 in the Mustangs league victory on Friday.
Next, the Mustangs face the Petal Panthers (Petal, MS) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 5. West Jones will attempt to better on its 10-3 season record. The Panthers enter the contest with a 9-6 record after their 6-0 non-league win over Hancock (Kiln, MS).
The Bulldogs now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pearl River Central for a 6A Region 3 contest on Tuesday, December 19. Terry will face a Blue Devils team coming off a 7-0 league win over Hattiesburg (Hattiesburg, MS). The Blue Devils record now stands at 3-5.
