In Friday's non-league challenge, the BBD [Brookfield/Bethel/Danbury] IceCats (Brookfield, CT) ice hockey team bounced the visiting Wilton Warriors (Wilton, CT), by a margin of 8-1.
The IceCats now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Housatonic/Northwestern/Wamogo for a Nutmeg Conference challenge on Wednesday, December 20. BBD [Brookfield/Bethel/Danbury] will clash with a Mountaineers team coming off a 12-3 league loss to Eastern CT Eagles (Groton, CT). The Mountaineers record now stands at 0-2.
