Dixie County Bears (Cross City, FL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Bell Bulldogs (Bell, FL), 50-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dixie County upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bears travel to Crystal River (Crystal River, FL) to play the Pirates in a non-league bout on Monday, December 18. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Crystal River lost 75-66 in their recent league bout against Weeki Wachee (Weeki Wachee, FL)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the River Ridge Royal Knights (New Port Richey, FL) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 16. Bell will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
