The Bridgeport Indians basketball team scored 86 points and restricted the visiting Robert C. Byrd Eagles to 44 in the Indians non-league victory on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairmont Senior for a non-league contest on Wednesday, December 20. Bridgeport will battle a Polar Bears team coming off a 69-41 non-league win over Buckhannon-Upshur (Buckhannon, WV). The Polar Bears record now stands at 1-1.

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against East Fairmont (Fairmont, WV). The Bees come into the non-league contest with a 0-0 record.
