Salem Seminoles (Conyers, GA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Cave Spring Knights (Roanoke, VA), 52-49 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Salem upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Seminoles host Pike County (Zebulon, GA) to play the Pirates in a bout on Thursday, January 4. The Pirates go into the bout with a record of 1-0.

Next up, the Knights play the Patrick Henry Patriots (Roanoke, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Cave Spring will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Patriots go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 67-24 non-league win over Christiansburg (Christiansburg, VA).
