Concord Spiders (Concord, NC) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lake Norman Charter Knights (Huntersville, NC), 47-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Concord upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Spiders host West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC) to play the Falcons in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 0-5. West Rowan lost 39-33 in their recent non-league bout against Carson (China Grove, NC)

Next up, the Knights play the Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Lake Norman Charter will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Cougars go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 39-33 non-league win over West Rowan (Mt. Ulla, NC).
