The East Davidson Golden Eagles basketball team (Thomasville, NC), was overwhelmed 62-38 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC)
The Yellowjackets now possess a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Davidson for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 19. Lexington will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 67-29 non-league loss to North Rowan (Spencer, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-8.
The Golden Eagles (4-6) will now prepare for their battle against Providence Grove (Franklinville, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 0-7 record. In their last battle, Providence Grove was overwhelmed by Uwharrie Charter (Asheboro, NC), 57-44, in a non-league battle.
