The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers (Forest, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Liberty Minutemen (Bedford, VA), 52-39 in Friday's non-league test.

The Cavaliers (3-2) will now prepare for their test against Orange County (Orange, VA). The Fighting Hornets go into the non-league test with a 5-3 record. In their last test, Orange County went down by Albemarle (Charlottesville, VA), 90-40, in a non-league test.

The Minutemen now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to James River for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 19. Liberty will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 41-37 non-league loss to Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA). The Knights record now stands at 2-3.
