South County Stallions (Lorton, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Lake Braddock Bruins (Burke, VA), 51-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, South County upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Stallions host West Springfield (Springfield, VA) to clash with the Spartans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 1-1.

Next up, the Bruins clash with the Robinson Rams (Fairfax, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Lake Braddock will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Rams enter the game with a 0-3 record after their 52-30 non-league loss to Langley (McLean, VA).
