Virginia High School Basketball - Western Branch thwarts Lakeland

December 15, 2023: Chesapeake, VA 23321

The Western Branch Bruins (Chesapeake, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Lakeland Cavaliers (Suffolk, VA), 62-43 in Friday's non-league test.

The Bruins (3-3) will now prepare for their test against Salem (Virginia Beach, VA). The Sundevils go into the non-league test with a 2-1 record.

The Cavaliers now own a 1-4 record. They play next when they travel to Norcom for a non-league test on Saturday, December 16. Lakeland will encounter a Greyhounds squad coming off a 69-55 non-league win over Lake Taylor (Norfolk, VA). The Greyhounds record now stands at 4-2.
