Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Western Guilford Hornets (Greensboro, NC), 57-52 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Southwest Guilford upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Cowboys host T.W. Andrews (High Point, NC) to play the Red Raiders in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Red Raiders come into the bout with a record of 2-6. T.W. Andrews lost 64-49 in their recent non-league bout against Carver (Winston-Salem, NC)

Next up, the Hornets play the Reidsville Rams (Reidsville, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Western Guilford will attempt to upgrade on its 3-4 season record.
