The crowd at Sunday's league challenge between the Normandy Invaders (Parma, OH) and the visiting Elyria Catholic Panthers (Elyria, OH), witnessed Normandy's ice hockey team defeat Elyria Catholic by a final score of 6-4.

The Invaders (6-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Nordonia (Macedonia, OH). The Knights come into the non-league challenge with a 6-3 record. In their last challenge, Nordonia got by Orange (Pepper Pike, OH), 6-4, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Westlake Demons (Westlake, OH) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 18. Elyria Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Demons come into the challenge with a 10-0 record after their 8-0 league win over Mayfield (Mayfield, OH).
