Virginia High School Basketball - Eastside victorious over Lee

In Monday's non-league contest, the visiting Eastside Spartans basketball team scored a good 54-41 triumph over the Lee Generals.
The Spartans (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Grundy (Grundy, VA). The Golden Wave go into the non-league contest with a 2-0 record. In their last match, Grundy notched a victory over Richlands (Richlands, VA), 58-49, in a non-league match.
The Generals now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Gate City for a Mountain match on Tuesday, December 16. Lee will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 74-58 league win over John Battle (Bristol, VA). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-1.
