In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Turner Ashby Knights basketball squad scored a decisive 65-35 victory over the Waynesboro Little Giants.
With the victory, Turner Ashby upgrades its record to 6-0 on the year. The Knights host Harrisonburg (Harrisonburg, VA) to face the Blue Streaks in a Valley match on Tuesday, December 16. The Blue Streaks enter the match with a record of 0-2. Harrisonburg lost 67-36 in their recent non-league match against Staunton (Staunton, VA)
The Little Giants now sport a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Alleghany for a Three Rivers game on Tuesday, December 16. Waynesboro will confront a Cougars team coming off a 56-49 non-league win over Rocktown (Harrisonburg, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-0.
