The Cranston West Falcons beat the host Rogers Vikings basketball team by a margin of 40-32 in Monday's league game.

The Falcons now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they host La Salle Academy for a Division I game on Friday, December 19. Cranston West will confront a Rams team coming off a 36-21 league loss to North Kingstown (North Kingstown, RI). The Rams record now stands at 0-1.

With the loss, Rogers falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Vikings host East Greenwich (East Greenwich, RI) to confront the Avengers in a Division II game on Wednesday, December 17.
