San Miguel Vipers (Tucson, AZ) backers went home in high spirits Monday as they observed their soccer squad knock off the host Andrada Polytechnic Mavericks (Tucson, AZ), 2-0 in a non-league outing.

The Vipers (3-1) will now prepare for their outing against Coolidge (Coolidge, AZ). The Bears go into the non-league outing with a 2-4 record. In their last outing, Coolidge got by ALA - Anthem South (Florence, AZ), 9-1, in a non-league outing.

Next up, the Mavericks play the Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ) in a 3A South game, on Tuesday, January 6. Andrada Polytechnic will attempt to advance on its 1-8 season record. The Eagles come into the game with a 1-4 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Sahuaro (Tucson, AZ).
