Alabama High School Basketball - Sipsey Valley nips Central

Sipsey Valley Bears (Buhl, AL) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Central Falcons (Tuscaloosa, AL), 45-38 in a league bout.

With the victory, Sipsey Valley upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Bears travel to Cottage Hill Christian Academy (Mobile, AL) to play the Warriors in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 21. The Warriors come into the bout with a record of 12-3.

Next up, the Falcons play the Clay-Chalkville Cougars (Pinson, AL) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 20. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 3-9 season record.
