Fans at Thursday's league challenge between the Lee's Summit West Titans (Lee's Summit, MO) and the visiting Liberty Blue Jays (Liberty, MO), saw Lee's Summit West's basketball squad hold off Liberty by a tally of 47-44.
With the victory, Lee's Summit West improves its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Rock Bridge (Columbia, MO) to confront the Bruins in a non-league challenge on Monday, December 20. The Bruins come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Rock Bridge won 56-45 in their recent non-league challenge against Battle (Columbia, MO)
Next up, the Blue Jays confront the Lee's Summit North Broncos (Lee's Summit, MO) in a Suburban - Gold challenge, on Monday, January 3. Liberty will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
