Woodville Panthers (Woodville, AL) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Valley Head Tigers (Valley Head, AL), 67-51 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Woodville upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Panthers travel to Cedar Bluff (Cedar Bluff, AL) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Friday, December 17. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-1. Cedar Bluff won 51-23 in their recent non-league bout against Skyline (Scottsboro, AL)

Next up, the Tigers play the Brindlee Mountain Lions (Guntersville, AL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 22. Valley Head will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
