The North Stokes Vikings (Danbury, NC) basketball crushed the visiting Alleghany Trojans (Sparta, NC), 81-46 in Friday's league test.

The Vikings (8-1) will now prepare for their test against Patrick County (Stuart, VA). The Cougars go into the non-league test with a 4-4 record. In their last test, Patrick County was trounced by Bassett (Bassett, VA), 75-58, in a league test.

The Trojans now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host North Wilkes for a non-league test on Tuesday, December 20. Alleghany will encounter a Vikings squad coming off a 74-72 league loss to West Wilkes (Millers Creek, NC). The Vikings record now stands at 4-5.
