In Friday's league outing, the Alpena Leopards (Alpena, AR) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Deer Antlers (Deer, AR), by a margin of 77-40.

The Leopards (6-8) will now prepare for their outing against Oark (Oark, AR). The Hornets go into the 1A Region 1 East outing with a 2-10 record. In their last outing, Oark was trounced by Deer (Deer, AR), 61-60, in a league outing.

The Antlers now own a 2-11 record. They play next when they travel to Rural Special for a non-league outing on Monday, December 26.
