Appleton West Terrors (Appleton, WI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Appleton North Lightning (Appleton, WI), 66-63 in a league bout.

With the win, Appleton West upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Terrors travel to Adams-Friendship (Adams, WI) to play the Green Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Green Devils go into the bout with a record of 1-2.

Next up, the Lightning play the Wausau West Warriors (Wausau, WI) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Appleton North will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record. The Warriors go into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 57-29 league loss to Stevens Point (Stevens Point, WI).
