Bedford Buccaneers (Bedford, MA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Wayland Warriors (Wayland, MA), 75-40 in a league bout.

With the win, Bedford upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Buccaneers travel to Millbury (Millbury, MA) to play the Woolies in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Woolies go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Millbury won 77-62 in their recent non-league bout against Nipmuc Regional (Upton, MA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Acton-Boxborough Colonials (Acton, MA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Wayland will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Colonials go into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 50-44 league win over Lincoln-Sudbury (Sudbury, MA).
