The Maryville Spoofhounds basketball team scored 65 points and restricted the visiting Benton Cardinals to 53 in the Spoofhounds non-league victory on Friday.

The Spoofhounds now sport a 3-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Grain Valley for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Maryville will battle a Eagles team coming off a 53-52 non-league win over Blue Springs South (Blue Springs, MO). The Eagles record now stands at 5-1.

The Cardinals (1-6) will now prepare for their contest against Lincoln College Prep (Kansas City, MO). The Blue Tigers come into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Lincoln College Prep dropped by Plattsburg (Plattsburg, MO), 73-48, in a non-league contest.
