Tennessee High School Basketball - Blackman nips Franklin County

December 16, 2022: Winchester, TN 37398

Blackman Blaze (Murfreesboro, TN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Franklin County Rebels (Winchester, TN), 49-44 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Blackman upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Blaze host Lighthouse Christian (Antioch, TN) to play the Lions in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Lions go into the bout with a record of 1-12.

Next up, the Rebels play the Tullahoma Wildcats (Tullahoma, TN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Franklin County will attempt to upgrade on its 5-7 season record.
