Shiner Comanches (Shiner, TX) fans exited the stadium happy Friday as they observed their basketball team defeat the host Bloomington Bobcats/Lady Cats (Bloomington, TX), 55-36 in a league contest.

The Comanches now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Joseph for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Shiner will meet a Flyers team coming off a 74-22 league loss to St. Joseph Academy (Brownsville, TX). The Flyers record now stands at 4-5.

The Bobcats/Lady Cats (0-7) will now prepare for their contest against Flatonia (Flatonia, TX). The Bulldogs enter the 2A Region IV District 28 contest with a 14-0 record.
