The Montgomery County Indians basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Bourbon County Colonels to 38 in the Indians league triumph on Friday.

The Indians now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martin County for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Montgomery County will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 92-26 non-league win over Varsity Opponent (, ). The Cardinals record now stands at 5-2.

The Colonels (2-5) will now prepare for their contest against Rowan County (Morehead, KY). The Vikings enter the non-league contest with a 4-3 record. In their last contest, Rowan County triumphed over Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY), 78-26, in a non-league contest.
