Brunswick Blue Devils (Brunswick, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Medina Battling Bees (Medina, OH), 55-44 in a league bout.

With the win, Brunswick upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Blue Devils host Highland (Medina, OH) to play the Hornets in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 21. The Hornets go into the bout with a record of 4-1.

Next up, the Battling Bees play the Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 17. Medina will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Cadets go into the bout with a 1-0 record after their 61-46 non-league win over Warren (Vincent, OH).
