The Buckeye Bucks basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Valley Forge Patriots to 53 in the Bucks league triumph on Friday.

The Bucks now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Highland for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 20. Buckeye will battle a Hornets team coming off a 61-46 league win over Roosevelt (Kent, OH). The Hornets record now stands at 4-1.

The Patriots (2-3) will now prepare for their contest against Fairview (Fairview Park, OH). The Warriors enter the Great Lakes contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Fairview ran past Bay (Bay Village, OH), 78-73, in a league contest.
