With the victory, Capital Prep upgrades its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Trailblazers host University (Hartford, CT) to play the Hawks in a Capitol Region bout on Monday, December 19. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 0-1. University lost 73-35 in their recent league bout against Weaver (Hartford, CT)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Classical Magnet Gladiators (Hartford, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Bulkeley will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Gladiators come into the bout with a 1-1 record after their 58-47 non-league loss to Enfield (Enfield, CT).
