South Carolina High School Basketball - Palmetto Scholars Academy topped by Burke

The Burke Bulldogs basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Palmetto Scholars Academy Phoenix to 40 in the Bulldogs league victory on Friday.

The Bulldogs now sport a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Charleston for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 17. Burke will battle a Cougars team coming off a 69-55 non-league loss to Colleton County (Walterboro, SC). The Cougars record now stands at 6-3.

The Phoenix (0-9) will now prepare for their contest against Charleston Math & Science (Charleston, SC). The Riptide come into the A Region 8 contest with a 4-5 record.
