Fans at Friday's league challenge between the Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY) and the visiting Carroll County Panthers (Carrollton, KY), saw Owen County's basketball squad wallop Carroll County by a tally of 68-41.

With the victory, Owen County improves its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Bell County (Pineville, KY) to play the Bobcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 20. The Bobcats come into the challenge with a record of 1-4. Bell County lost 68-67 in their recent non-league challenge against Garrard County (Lancaster, KY)

Next up, the Panthers play the Southwestern Rebels (Hanover, IN) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 21. Carroll County will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 7-0 record after their 71-48 non-league win over Clarksville (Clarksville, IN).
