The Seckinger Jaguars (Buford, GA) basketball nipped the host Cedar Shoals Jaguars (Athens, GA), 71-66 in Friday's league test.

The Jaguars (8-3) will now prepare for their test against Ola (McDonough, GA). The Mustangs go into the non-league test with a 0-12 record. In their last test, Ola was tipped by Jones County (Gray, GA), 81-50, in a league test.

The Jaguars now own a 1-8 record. They play next when they host Clarke Central for a non-league test on Saturday, December 17. Cedar Shoals will encounter a Gladiators squad coming off a 52-51 league loss to Eastside (Covington, GA). The Gladiators record now stands at 2-6.
