The Webster County basketball team (Preston, GA), was overwhelmed 96-27 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Central Hawks (Talbotton, GA)
The Hawks now possess a 3-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Schley County for a A D2 Region 6A battle on Saturday, December 17. Central will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 67-27 non-league loss to Chattahoochee County (Cusseta, GA). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
The (0-4) will now prepare for their battle against Macon County (Montezuma, GA). The Bulldogs come into the A D2 Region 6A battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Macon County trounced Greenville (Greenville, GA), 68-60, in a league battle.
