McIntosh Demons (McIntosh, AL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Citronelle Wildcats (Citronelle, AL), 55-47 in a non-league bout.

With the win, McIntosh upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Demons travel to Thomasville (Thomasville, AL) to clash with the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 17. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-3. Thomasville won 73-46 in their recent non-league bout against Linden (Linden, AL)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Leroy Bears (Leroy, AL) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Citronelle will attempt to upgrade on its 6-3 season record.
