Clarke County Eagles (Berryville, VA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Page County Panthers (Shenandoah, VA), 73-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Clarke County upgrades its record to 3-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Skyline (Front Royal, VA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Monday, December 19. The Hawks come into the bout with a record of 4-0. Skyline won 76-74 in their recent non-league bout against Broadway (Broadway, VA)

Next up, the Panthers play the Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, December 19. Page County will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Knights come into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 59-41 league loss to Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA).
