The Lawrence Golden Tornadoes basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Clarke Rams to 51 in the Golden Tornadoes league victory on Friday.

The Golden Tornadoes now sport a 5-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Valley Stream South for a Section 8 VII contest on Tuesday, December 20. Lawrence will battle a Falcons team coming off a 61-27 non-league loss to Floral Park Memorial (Floral Park, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 0-1.

The Rams (0-1) will now prepare for their contest against Friends Academy (Locust Valley, NY). The Quakers come into the Section 8 VII contest with a 5-0 record.
