Alabama High School Basketball - Colbert County thwarts Phil Campbell

The Colbert County Indians (Leighton, AL) basketball knocked off the visiting Phil Campbell Bobcats (Phil Campbell, AL), 56-36 in Friday's league test.

The Indians (2-2) will now prepare for their test against Hatton (Town Creek, AL). The Hornets go into the non-league test with a 8-0 record. In their last test, Hatton notched a victory over Lexington (Lexington, AL), 57-55, in a league test.

The Bobcats now own a 8-3 record. They play next when they travel to Asbury for a non-league test on Monday, December 19. Phil Campbell will encounter a Rams squad coming off a 60-22 league loss to Plainview (Rainsville, AL). The Rams record now stands at 0-5.
