Conestoga Pioneers (Berwyn, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Ridley Raiders (Folsom, PA), 61-55 in a league bout.

With the victory, Conestoga upgrades its record to 5-2 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Lower Merion (Ardmore, PA) to play the Aces in a Central bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Aces come into the bout with a record of 5-1. Lower Merion won 68-58 in their recent league bout against Garnet Valley (Glen Mills, PA)

Next up, the Raiders play the Haverford Fords (Havertown, PA) in a Central bout, on Tuesday, December 20. Ridley will attempt to upgrade on its 1-2 season record. The Fords come into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 64-56 league loss to Upper Darby (Drexel Hill, PA).
